About DoughGram

DoughGram is a small set of free baking calculators for people who weigh their ingredients. Every tool runs on baker's percentages, the system professional bakers use so a recipe stays consistent at any batch size: flour is always 100 percent, and every other ingredient is a percentage of the flour.

How the math works

For a target dough weight, we solve for flour first, then derive every other ingredient from its percentage. The sourdough tools also split your starter into its flour and water and fold both into the totals, which is why the hydration figure they report is the true one rather than an approximation. The math is deterministic: the same inputs always give the same grams, and you can check any result by hand.

What it is, and isn't

It is a fast, accurate scale-side helper: enter your numbers, get exact gram weights, save or share the recipe. It is not a recipe blog or a substitute for judgment. Flours, kitchens, and ovens vary, so treat the output as a precise starting point and adjust to your dough.

Free, private, no account

The tools are free and need no sign-up. Saved recipes live in your own browser; you can export a backup or reload a recipe from its shareable link. DoughGram is supported by affiliate links to baking gear, which never change what we recommend.
